What a sad, sad loss to his many friends and family and to karting as a whole. I'm at a loss for words (for once) but I would like to share one memory, which I think summed Danny up

At the 2010 CIK qualifier at PFI I saw Danny on the gate helping to park up. He spent virtually the whole weekend there, morning, noon and evening. Over the course of the weekend I caught up with him and asked what he was doing there and couldn't TVKC have found him a better job a bit closer to the action. He just smiled, said that he didn't mind one bit and that he was glad to help out and do his bit to give something back to British Karting on a really important weekend for the sport. For someone who spent most of his life giving back to others for the love of the sport, that kind of humility really spoke volumes about him as a person
