I actually would recommend the camera Brick hasn't yet got working! I did exactly the same and bought off of e-bay, not the one advertised. Cost me �11 and that was with a 4Gb memory card!
I agree the instructions are rubbish but once you figure it out it's dead simple. Charge it up via USB, press and hold the power on button, then press and hold the front button until it flashes 3 times and you're in business. It records at 30fps and was actually better quality than my Muvi camera. You do get what you pay for and it's definitely NOT a GoPro contender but to stick on a helmet is perfect because it's so small and light. I duck taped mine below the exhaust and it recorded pretty well considering where it was. Audio is not brilliant but it's not 20 times worse than a GoPro.
