I do not believe it means that "people can do as they please with carbs in rotax" As John said, - Currently there are many areas that are only covered by the classic "as supplied by Rotax/Dellorto"
It means you can't do anything with the components of your carb to get better performance other than match the best bits and test-test-test them.
Sorry to generalise and I might be wrong but it seems to me that on this forum, Rotax racers can see good and bad in Rotax (and discuss it), and good and bad in TKM, but choose to drive Rotax for their own reasons, often to do with grid size, whilst some TKM racers can only see good in TKM and bad in Rotax and can't wait to shout it out at every opportunity. It would not take Alexis Rosenbaum to figure that one out.
Anyway - Happy Christmas and best wishes for success in 2012 to ALL Rotax and TKM drivers - and in fact anyone who races karts no matter who makes the engine. You race karts, so as far as I'm concerned we share a passion - and thats enough for me.
