There is no single answer that will suit every track. Tracks like Rissington, Shenington and Kimbolton are restricted in the number of days they are allowed to use the track and may only be able to cater for the learner drivers on a race weekend. One solution would be to send non-licence holders out in their own session but if there are only 2 or 3 of them you start to upset other drivers who are getting less track time themselves. Shenington often has enough cadet drivers to split them into a novice group which includes learners and yellow plates. Clubs need to envcourage new drivers to join the sport so there will always be this balancing act of giving everyone as much practice time as possible whilst keeping everyone safe. Ther will probably be days where having a train of 6/7 drivers is just not safe and they need to adjust their practice routine.
