Consistancy is the biggest issue I think. It would be great to stop the kerb running, my wallet would be considerably thicker, but to be competitive we have to. The following links indicate my point about consistancy. the first is the junior heat 1. I heard of no one being DSQd. The 2nd link is the 177 heat 1, immediately after, where all were excluded. Most of the shots show the last part of stadium bend. A few show the left hander in to pylon. Other points on the track where drivers go off the black stuff are the exit of hairpin 1, where it's normal for them to get at least 2 wheels across the white line onto the block paving. Sometimes you will see a driver going completely around the back of the tyre wall there, holding their position into the next hairpin or even gaining a kart length or two. Not heard of anyone being pulled up for that! Then there's the kerb through the esses, where it's normal to have both inside wheels right over it, and then the important last corner onto the straight where most drivers run their kart with 2 wheels comepletly ouside the kerb. I wonder how much slower the lap times would be if we all stopped "cheating" there.
