We have been a father and son team since starting 3 years ago, however, results were hit and miss and towards the end if last season seamed to be going backwards.
My karting knowledge is very limited, we have had massive help from a friend since we started which has been great but on race weekends he runs both his sons so couldn't expect to keep bothering him although he is always happy to do whatever he can to help. We decided to run with a team whenever possible (limited budget) with me spannering. I can honestly say it has made a different driver out of my lad probably helped by knowledgeable set up advice from the team too. In summary, if you don't seem to be moving forward it is always worth taking advice from those that know what they're doing. Have a look around the paddock and see who is getting the results and have a chat with them to see if they can help.
