I'd start off by narrowing the front, with equal spacers each side of the hubs and widening the rear hubs by 10mm each side. Check the ride height front and rear, making sure both ends of the kart are middle ride height. Also make sure your front wheels are pointing straight ahead (no toe in or out) use this as a starting point for your next test.
To keep things simple on the second test move the front hubs in 5mm each side, if the handling improves move in another 5mm and so on, move out 5mm if does not improve or handling worsens.
If the kart still feels unbalanced after doing the above move the rears out another 5mm each side and start over with the front testing.
You should get a feel for each change you make and it will give you a better understanding of your karts dynamics.
I'm not an expert mechanic, but I'd try the above first.
