Hello guys.
This weekend I'm going indoor karting with some mates for one of their birthdays. I have raced myself in Prokarts, and my friends know this. If I don't win or do well, I'm never ever going to live it down. My friends are good enough drivers on the road, but from what I've seen, they're not great at driving fast... For instance braking around bends when going too fast. But there are one or two that seem ok.
My hope is that my previous experience will shine through and I will win easily. I went indoor karting a couple of months ago as I took my girlfriend for a go, and entered myself against 9 people and won by 4 laps over the guy in 2nd, and around 10laps over nearly everyone else... So this is comforting. Although I was 1s off the fastest lap of the day but I did complete 60 overtakes in 30odd laps so I didn't get much of a clear run!
Has anyone had any previous experiences?
Thanks, Rob
