I never understood the fascination with being as tight as can be into the 1st turn at 3 sisters, especially further into the pack and its something thats always been going on there.

The outside line around turn 1 is what I very often kept to if I was on the outside line at the start, let everyone bunch together on the inside and slow themselves up, you can usually make a few places this way, worked well on the club or the valley circuit. Plus if you do it right you'll have the inside line into the 2nd corner and gain more there.

Only time it doesnt work is if there is a collision and karts drifting to the outside of the track, I may have just been lucky but I never had this happen to me very much. Just be aware of whats going on around you.
