Ok then BFD, consider this casting my stone first.
I raced competitively from 1998-2009, through Cadet. Yamaha, Junior Rotax, ICC and 250. I raced at club level until 05 then long circuit mainly afterwards, basically because we were on a real shoestring.
In that time I mixed it at the front, even running well when the Nat guys came pot hunting. Yeah, I received my fair share of contact, but I raced that entire twelve seasons and received ONE black and white flag. I believed if you can't race fairly, don't race. The guys ding aggressive, simple, run out the front so they can't catch you, or out think them.
In my time racing I ran with Arrow importer Walker Racing for a spell. Never once was I asked or told about loading, crowding etc and nobody in his awning ever was. Had I been asked to, I'd have walked away.
Granted, as I never had the budget I never raced short circuit at national level, but I can say this, I'd rather be in the midfield racing hard but fair than at the front driving like you have tated yyour son does. You sir encapsulate what is wrong with karting, if you profess to hate it as much as you do, please take your son and your attitude elsewhere, and take the rest of your kind with you.
