18 weeks in jail ? try 21 months.... this is cut and pasted from the court report..
:A 37 year old man has been sent to jail for deceiving people out of thousands of pounds.

Robin Scott Butler of Walcot Close, Bowthorpe, Norwich pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to 11 counts of fraud by false representation.

Between November 2009 and June this year Butler promised his victims motor vehicle and boat parts as well as fishing equipment in exchange for money. Money was transferred into the offender�s bank account and the parts/equipment were never sent.

At Norwich Crown Court on Tuesday 24 August, Butler asked that 32 other offences be taken into consideration and was sentenced to a total of 21 months in prison.

DS Sarah Knights from Norwich CID said �We are pleased with the outcome as we have been working hard for many months to bring Butler to justice.

�He was deceiving people out of hundreds of pounds on each occasion and therefore making a very lucrative living from dishonestly promising genuine customers parts for cash.
