Don't get too taken in by dyno figures, RPM's is different to UFO's which is different to ProKarts etc etc If you can, get a test day on the engines you are being offered and see which one suits you best as they each have different characteristics. If you can have a chat with the engine builder who last serviced yet as they should be able to give you an honest view
A brand new out of the box T2 will cost you best part of 750 and will take approx 10hrs use before it really starts to come on song.
This time of year, lots of people are moving classes so engines are available, some will move to the IAME as it sounds more reliable than the comer.
You could always ask them why they are selling - are they staying in Honda or moving etc?- see how genuine they are.
T2's are the only engine you can buy new now, so they'll be coming on like the SP's did.
However, as has been said before, make sure the soft squishy bit behind the steering wheel is up to speed, driver skills can outweigh a "SP" engine and sometimes its better to invest in track time rather than buying the biggest engine on the market
