As you clearly don't get the link between RELEVENT EVIDENCE and 'facts', I won't bother trying to explain it to you.
What we DO know, and that even YOU can usnderstand, is that the MSA HAVE done some testing and were SO unconvinced that they would NOT recommend them! As far as I can find so far, only SOUTH AFRICA has recommended them for kart racing (when I lasted checked).
It doesn't matter what **I** think or what YOU think..... if the MSA make COMPULSORY the use of race suits, gloves, boots and helmets, etc., .... but won't even RECOMMEND the use of neck braces... that tells the more thoughtful amongst us SOMETHING!
If it was QUITE so cut and dried that neck braces DO help safety, W*H*Y don't the MSA even RECOMMEND them????? Unless you can answer that, the REST of your views on this subject are pretty academic!
It's YOUR choice if you want to use one: just don't pretend that those who (supposedly) KNOW about karting safety (i.e., the MSA), think the same as YOU!
For the more erudite amongst you, I'd make the link to the the dog that DIDN'T bark in the night!
