Sparco also say "Most collars lean on the shoulders (clavicle) or other sensitive areas of the body (sternum, spine) which means that in a collision the pressure is directed into these sensitive areas of the body."

This might suggest that they consdier otherneck collars to be unsafe.

However, Leatt say "There is currently no other neck protection system available for karters that can effectively help prevent all of the above potential injuries."

Then you get EVS that say their neck collar has been adapted and approved for karting - but who approved it?

Maybe the simplest way to check out the claims is to send the advertisements to the advertising standards agency as they then ask the companies for evidence to support their claims.
