Just thought i would put my view across. i think the non msa was a great turnout and really hope that 3s's decide to run an IKR championship. I have been doing the Hooton Park one for 3 years now (senior rotax) and have seen it grow over the years, with the different rules and regulations put in place. Just because it is IKR doesnt mean that people dont want a fair race...why would anyone get any satisfaction by bringing a 'rocket motor (tuned engine) or a motor that has a clear advantage over the rest and taking the glory for winning. I think IKR should have rules and regulations that make racing fair but still keeping it enjoyable. Set classes, set tyres and minimum weights i believe would be a good idea (similar to hooton as most people will be coming from there and it would be a pain to have to change constantly), along with tight rules on racing conduct. Hooton park has a good IKR series that is very sucesfull it might be an idea for 3S's to see what works well there and adapt it to what they want. IKR is good because the track decides what the rules are and can base it around what we want not around what a regulatory body dictates. I hope they do run a series as it is a fantastic circuit and if done right i think it will be a great success.
