Driving standards throughout motorsport in general are now appalling no doubt because what is allowed as the norm in karting these days.
I watched the F4 race yesterday and the 2nd placed driver was on the inside of the leader and 3/4 alongside at the apex and the leader turned right into him taking both of them off.
Then there was the Porsche race where the pole man made a bad start and the third starting car came alongside and swiped across him putting him onto grass and into a spin.
And don't get me started re the BTCC. Snedden pushed into barriers at 3rd corner.
Caterhams on Saturday morning, pole girl taken out be fast stating car 2 rows back. The guy wasn't happy having passed 4 cars into the first corner so he hits the pole car doing nothing wrong.
Motor racing is becoming a joke. I preferred it when it was genuine enthusiast who were into it and yes there will always be "incidents" but now they are the norm.
Inexperience, too much money and bad attitude all play a part.
