Bombhead
He's about 1.5s off the front at clay and a couple of seconds at dunkeswell. He seems to sit at the same pace for a bit then finds half a second then sits there for a bit and so on. He also had a huge accident during a practice day, where although he didn't hurt himself, it definitely hindered his progress while he got over that. I know this is going to sound odd, but I swear he drives much better when he's wearing his race suit and boots than when he wears his beaten up old practice suit and boots?
Andy - I think we're talking about the same driver, so without using the lads name, I have spoken to his dad a couple of times and he is very knowledgable and his brother is also fast - as far as I know, without driving as part of any team (I could be wrong on this) It is encouraging to see people like that because it proves that it's possible to be successful through hard work and while resisting the temptation to just start spending huge amounts of money (which I don't have and even if I did, I fully appreciate that racing only gets more expensive as they move up the classes and I don't really want to start something I can't afford to finish)
