Sir,good morning to you ,
Having raced /attended race meetings at 3 Sisters for over 30 years !!! as an individual driver and as a Sponsor and team owner,I have never experienced such problems in recent years with MBKC as those you alledgedly experienced at the hands of the club officials, not seemingly with the on the day invited MSA officials.
I don't know whether you have ever helped run a club as a committee member or a meeting as an official/volunteer/marshall,but once again from your comments especially those re "club greed" and other issues it appears you have not trust me it is thankless,ever thanked officials as you have left a meeting ?.
Your experience is not however unusual when dealing with MSA officialdom and decision making in karting on the day. deliberated on until very late on the Sunday night.
All in all we were not shown as the Championship winners until 3 months later. All this action was under MSA duristiction NOT the club .(It was not MBKC at 3 Sisters by the way).
As said clubs are dammed if they do dammed if they dont on entries,but at the end of the day all clubs have got to survive,they only have entries as a source of revenue or CLUB members fees,and if officials took money out of MSA clubs as expenses /wages etc you would not be racing at the end of this season I am sure with plumeting MSA entries.
MBKC used to /still do ? pay for the circuit for 3 days,very few turn up to test on a Friday these days big loss,and 3 Sisters Racing the circuit lessees get the admission momey from the gate after 10am on race day..do the sums there is very little profit left for the next meeting,I have NO connection currently with MBKC other than as stated above, I just feel they are being pilloried for trying to accomodate everyone.
