WHOA Dan Y ,try HIM in a kart before you part with any cash to anyone. Make make sure HE can reach the pedals, turn the wheel, track rods dont lift his feet off the floor on turning, can he put enough pressure on the brake pedal to stop, can he see over the steering wheel..take him as said to Hooton and ask people in the paddock if they would mind you just sitting him in a kart to size him. A cadet is a better option as they outgrow bambinos very quickly, but make sure a cadet is not too big an option at the start. Make sure its what HE wants to do, YOU are easy to sort out as you have been racing..weigh up costs,at least you wont be paying 150 a time car circuit entry fees. Has he been out at an indoor track yet on a bambino/any kart ?
