Dont get me started on the software used for this BB, its so archaic, theres being retro and then theres just being obstinate for the sake of it.

The fact they had to cull all the posts from before September 2008 (http://www.karting.co.uk/Notice/Forum.asp?FID=5&PID=176) is a crying shame, all that information lost. It could have easily have been ported over to another bulletin board software package.
And for what? Still get SQL timeouts for most decent length searches, making it virtually useless as a point of reference. Fed up of seeing this, my DBA's laughed when I showed them it at work, couldnt believe what they were seeing when this came back:
