Sorry Nik if I 'misquoted' you. It was NOT intentional.
I appear to have misread what you said which was:-
".....i'm sure number 5 happens on corner entry...... "
....which says what I later 'quoted' and explains my 'confusion', I read that and believed it was your opinion. However, I now see that the next two words were:-
".... for Ian..."
....which reverses the meaning.
However, I simply do NOT believe that you think ALL karts take corners on three wheels which is what your last post seems to imply: we both know they do not. If you are merely saying that they reduce the ground pressure on that inner wheel, then we agree.
Secondly, I am pretty shocked that you are waiting until AFTER the apex to apply power. If you did that (for example) on 'Pit Bend' (before the Rye House main straight) then most of us would EAT you by the time we got to Stadium: we will have been on the FULL power a good 30ft before you will and that WILL cost you. I would argue, the earlier you can get on the power (with 'dead-ahead steering), the better.
I can't imagine how slowly you go through Stadium in that style as you we be OFF power until the last 40 feet as THAT is where the real 'apex' occurs!
I have never agreed with the suggestion 'Slow in, fast out' but that is what most 'experts' propose. My description fits that, yours doesn't!
Kind regards to you, sir!
Ian
