PFI and anywhere else need special MSA permission to race under lights. Hence seeing one TKM final almost in the dark a year or two ago.
Guessing but I think there would be too many MSA & H&S hoops to jump through to make it happen.

Race at Fulbeck - much more track time practice and race and cheaper, pit area is hard standing so not too bad, not everyone needs a grandstand. PFI sucks the life out of smaller clubs.

Big teams don't go there as they can't get instant success; Fulbeck takes quite a bit of work to get fast there, but at least it gives the lad and dad team a chance.

One month one of the top teams came to Fulbeck after collecting plenty of beakers at the previous PFI meeting. They came no where all day with 6 entrants. Saw noting in the press about it, but did see features on them cleaning up at Kimbolton - wonder why - bad press - a team is run as a business they don't want people to know about their flops!!! Call me cynical!!
