SimonS, you don't need to worry, we've ran the figures and yes the events will be insured. The licence issue is being dealt with sensibly and the main benefit to the racers is pretty clear form the advert on the home page. Entry fees don't need to come down much when you can provide huge savings elsewhere.
You may find it hard to believe but some of us really are doing this for the good of karting. We can all sit back and watch numbers fall and circuits increasingly look to arrive and drive or we can get stuck in and bring the old racers back and introduce newcomers that otherwise would find something else to do.
Don't forget it was the MD of Clay Pigeon who decided to take this step. Which is typical of all the circuits who have introduced non msa racing.
