I am shocked David. You are simply trying to evade the points which disprove your argument. I didn't expect that of you.

Yes, we may have half a dozen cases where standing starts have worked just fine. I also have evidence of HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS where rolling starts have worked just fine, too.

When you have raced as many standing starts as I have, then I'll accept your view as authoritative. I'll also accept the real and substantial EVIDENCE, if it's forthcoming. Of course, as time goes by, the starts will bunch the SS drivers in EXACTLY the same way RS drivers do today: once people work out the technology of setting their clutches for best-possible launch. AND when faster-starting drivers are behind slower ones..... which will occur in 50% of all cases!
