Plus anybody with the right tools can rebuild a tkm engine and it will be fine. Therefore the cost is roughly the same whoever you go to. However machining an engine to maximise performance takes masses of skill and expertise. If you allow this then the best builders will be able to name their price and parity will get worse not better.
