I have read your comments you published two days ago and you are correct. These engines could resurface over time as, it is likely, all will not be found. Is this now not the opportunity to tighten up the search, for the benefit of all those who compete, by eliminating them as quickly and efficiently as possible? There are those who are unaware that their engines have been made illegal and there are some that do know. Everyone has now been given the chance to have their engines inspected whether they used this engine builder or not. Some have taken up this opportunity, myself included and there are others who have not. If they haven't, then why not? Determine what you will from this instance. Things should not stop there. TKM engines are unsealed so other methods need to be put into practice to stop a repeat of what has happened. There is no reason why scrutiniser cards could not ask for port height and piston information. This could be obtained from a Talko inspection or from your own engine builder. Should these details ever change, confirmation from a rebuild or explanation would need to be given.
