You have to remember that the BKDA is still very young but in it's short lifetime it has already got things done or at least brought things into the spotlight sufficiently to make those who would rather sweep certain things under the carpet, sit up and realise it isn't going to go away and they have to take notice.
The Facebook page is a better way of bringing problems to the fore and that is the very reason why it was deemed NGfK, there's no hiding place.
There's no puppets or yes men on the BKDA, WYSIWYG.
The karter IS the customer and at least the BKDA represents IKR and non IKR drivers, unlike the ABkC and the MSA.
I do feel that the ABkC is only there as a buffer to isolate us from the MSA, which it does quite successfully and I haven't got any time for any of them except Graham Smith.
Strangely, most people don't understand that but either I'm missing something or you haven't seen it.
He does seem to be the only one from the 'establishment' who ever pokes his head over the parapet and says something useful or helpful.
There maybe only 280 registered members but there will be considerably more than that who just visit.
That is exactly the same for any forum. There are many forums that I visit for various subjects like welding, electrical, cars etc, but I am not a subscriber to that forum.
Sign up to the Facebook page and air your thoughts and grievances, so far I've not seen a post that hasn't attracted a zero reply count, unlike here and 'over there'.
