I don't *think* the dinosaurs went extinct because they were beaten by mammals who spent good money having a pretty helmet painted! The reality of a bloody great, unpainted (please note), asteroid did it!

Oh.... and Chris is being 'ironic' about the paint colour... I think!

Still, what do I know about it after more the 50 years of learning to recognise the difference between real benefits and hype. It's nice to know that 'fashion' (and fashion victims) are a better guide to success than experience!

Oh ..... and if fancy paint jobs helmets are SO important, perhaps someone should tell Nico the reason why Lewis won was because his helmet paint job was better. I could have sworn that Will Stevens was so slow because the car was hopeless, but... it appears it was his HELMET that was the problem! Poor old Jim Clark.... one colour helmet his entire career! He must have been *really* slow!
