You can easily get 'real' grease into bearings.... if you have a compressor:-
1) Wash the sh*t out of the bearings with degreaser or petrol (be VERY careful using petrol!!!!).
2) remove the degreaser with the air gun blowing the most out you can! Do N*O*T use the air line to make the bearings spin faster and faster! There have been examples of bearings exploding in the user's hands while doing this!
3) Press a thick layer of grease around one side of the bearing so that it covers the gap between the bearing and the dust cover (if you have them fitted)
4) use your airline, GENTLY, to blow the grease between the bearing and the dust cover.
5) do this repeatedly until grease appears on the other side.
6) Wipe the bearing clean and re-fit.
