Having stopped commenting on this site some years ago due to the number of childish arguments I was compelled enough by the above comments to try and reset my password - (unsuccessfully) and even register a new profile. My son and I have had a lot of enjoyable times competing with FKS in the past and even though we no longer race competitively we were at the show with mates and decided to pop and say hello to them. A number of the old guard were still there and after a good hour of chatting it is obvious that hundreds of thousands of pounds have been invested in the championship. My son was quick enough to point out that 100 awnings at 4,000 each is quite a sum. I haven't done the math and people may think I'm naive but I can't accept that FKs are just pocketing the difference in money. If I had a time machine I would love to go back and give my son a real chance to compete against the best on track and not just on budget. I'd also like to do it somewhere that had nice hospitality and not just a thermos of tea under a brolly! Good luck to them.
