First of all, let me say that we have no aspirations of doing S1, LGM or FKS at the moment, so have no axe to grind.
What is clear is that if FKS have got the producer of S1's TV output on his PC at 1am, then S1 is concerned about the competition it faces from FKS.
It's good for the sport that there is competition and it should keep both sides (and LGM) "honest". S1 has already responded to the threat it sees in a number of ways.
Likewise, before the end of this year I imagine FKS will perform a review and see whether there were any aspects of their offering which involved costs that the participants didn't value.
(By the way, I mean "honest" in its usual sense, not one of an industry where conflicts of interest are all over the place, the participants aren't consulted, suppliers sit on the decision-making forum, the 'penalties' for poor conduct are laughable and no "grass roots" strategy for growing the sport exists.)
