Some of us would argue that this 'seat stiffness' lark is mostly 'hype'.
Why do we think that? Don't trust our opinion: test it for yourself and make-up your own mind.
When you get your new seat, grip both upper 'wings' of the seat and see how flexible it really is! We don't accept that something that floppy can overpower the sort of forces that can only manage to bend your steel axle fractionally! Try it for yourself: flex the seat by hand and then try with all your strength, to bend an axle by hand........ In a 'battle for stiffness' which do you think would SWAMP the other's effect on 'flex'?
You will feel the comparison yourself!
It's your seat and your money and you should be allowed to make your own choice! Ours is just a different view on what words and what doesn't.
People will tell you they believe it 'works'. I am sure it does..... in EXACTLY the same way Homeopathy works......
