Hi I'm sure this has been covered before but I can't find it , Building a tonykart up for the kids have managed to get the pedals all the way towards them by turning back the stops and it had had the added effect of lowering the pedals , so they aren't using their toe tips to accelerate and brake .
When they sit in the kart it appears to me as if the steering wheel is to high they are stretching out for it , I've moved the seat forward , i can't drop the column towards them because that has a dual effect of pushing them further from the pedals .
So I was wondering the engineering solution would be to shorten the steering column ,can always put a full size one back in. but what sort if height should I be aiming for shoukdbthe bottom of the steering wheel be sort if rib height ??
