We were one of a handful who made the decision to go on wets, amazed to see most still on slicks tbh when we got on the dummy grid, we were still on dry gearing and set up due to time constraints, we set pressures low because it was only spitting at the time we set the kart on the floor. Various people then started kicking up cos they realised they had got it wrong, then the organisers and the clerk got involved and somehow came to the decision everyone had 4 minutes to change wheels. It was still only spitting at this point and this was probably 2-3 minutes after the track clear flag had gone out. We then had to get our kart out of the dummy grid to put some air back in as the rain was gonna come, by the time we got back I realised people were not just changing wheels but also gearing and set up, some with 4 mechanics around the kart, it was now too late for me to change anything and we were stuck on wrong gearing and set up. So we were penalised for being within the rules, some were still working on karts well after the 4 minutes too. To say I feel aggrieved is an understatement and on that basis, LGM, I'm out!
