once again it depends what you want. Club100 is for over 16s also its speed is comparible to a prokart - not a problem just reality. I like club100 by the way. before anyone thinks i don't.
these are race spec karts for under 18's. Also its the only place you can do super cadet. MUCH MUCH better class than minimax in my opinion. Watch super cadet and you will see why its the best step between Cadet and X30 Junior.
If cost is the main focus arrive and drive at your local track is probably the cheapest karting your going to get.
But its never just about cost. Its not even always about racing the best drivers.....although i would say in FKS you probably are racing the best with Tom Wood, Dean MacDonald, Harry Thompson, Ross Martin etc all racing at the front in all series they compete in. Remember only 1 can be the winner and you see young cadets with their dads making a whole weekend of it and enjoying it loads just achieving results with realistic expectations.
Come have a look at wigan. Speak to the FKS staff, see the setup I'm sure they will be more than happy to show you around. explain what the vision is.
Its the only series i know at this level you can compete on the same budget. LGM, S1 Club racing is all a free for all on costs. with FKS you know what your going to spend each weekend you do it. at 2k for 3 days and all that equipment hire.... I think its outstanding value really.
Could i afford it. No. but doesn't mean i don't appreciate the value for money.
**Teams haven't helped karting. but teams wouldn't be around without a demand. As karts got more complex, and men got less hands on with things you can see how teams took over.**
