As a cadet/junior dad I love the concept of fks. equal kit equal engines and it all being down to the driver is fantastic. However fks seemed to have ruined both the business plan and the concept! Originally there were supposed to be no teams,so no shared data,no team driving,no specialist coaches/mechanics etc which is quite obviously NOT happening! Yes,as banzai has said, you get the awning, the kit, transport etc etc.BUT at 20k plus at the start of the 1ST season you are paying for all of it! It would have made much more sense to fill all the grids the first year AT COST got up a big following and generated interest, drawn people from the quite frankly farcical super one series and spread the set up cost into the future. Belatedly they seem to have realised this. With 5 sets of tyres and everything else, personally I now think at 2000 a round it is good value for money, though if I had paid out the 20k to start with I would be wanting some cashback!!
