Or you could canvas the views of the members on the main issues in advance, circulate an agenda and allow members to cast votes even if they can't physically attend the AGM.
You could debate suggestions such as allowing the Club to combine grids of classes where the lap times are broadly similar (as Rissington do with the cadets), as and when necessary.
This would help reduce the "5 minute heat" problem, often with 50% or less karts than the circuit will allow.
It would also mean that equipment doesn't become defunct {eg TKM at Whilton Mill, Rotax in 2016? :-)}, as there would always be a grid available.
In the meantime, people will simply vote with their feet... there are plenty that just don't bother with Shenny because - if you think this is meant to be about enjoyment rather than building a career into F1 - the track time simply isn't worth the cost.
