I run a zip eagle in Hondas and I must say the ZIP factory have been more than helpful with set-up advice.
Regarding the Tonykart, we have just done 8 months in a team where one of our team-mates used one, I generally stayed clear of it, but they were using many set-up principles that work on a project-1, and in the end gave up on it and bought a project-1! but to the lads credit he got a few podiums in the TK. The TK is a very soft chassis and I think the advice above to run it like a ZIP is well worth doing.
One thing I didnt like about it was the brake disc looked like it was off a 1980's cadet, quite a thick heavy affair......whereby most of the cadet brake discs are spindly light things for low inertia and that get the axle to spin-up to speed quicker......certainly not an issue for a novice, but probably worth a tenth or so if you want to get up the front.
The only person to get the TK working in Hondas was Kieron Jewiss when at Strawberry in his last season of Cadets in 2014.....I heard eventually the chassis went soft and he reverted back to a ZIP......quite how true that is I dont know, but sounds more than believable that a TK went soft :-/
