My son was in fusion for 2 years on the synergy and it has less grip than the zip. On a low grip green track or slicks in the rain it is easier to generate grip with the zip. Best way to get the synergy to go fast is to run it pretty much standard, in the summer the synergy is always better and tends not to go off during the race as well.Standard axle don't adjust the ride height sometimes a kit in the front and maybe a plastic rear bumper. Best thing to do is keep it standard and teach your son to drive it to his best ability and go through his data and camera after each run.The kart is a fantastic build quality, chassis is stiff so doesnt need continual flat bedding componants are spot on and is easy to get fast on. Once your down to a few tenths off then little tweaks like bumper axle or wheels might find that little bit sometimes. No big secrets with it hence why fusion are so helpful and open to people they supply the chassis to.
