Coach - I do agree with what you say - I just couldnt pass on the opportunity of a good wind up related to millionaire parents and Fusion!

Anyway, parents buying 20 engines and building the best one/two engines is very common.....I know someone that did this in JX30 and he is a builder, in terms of wealth he is hardly on par with Landos dad!

What I think is key to breaking through, is having a manager that is very well connected to the F1 community......people like Mark Blundell, Martin Brundle, Anthony Hamilton, Mika Hakkinen and so on......

Back in the day it was Martin Hines that was pushing Lewis Hamilton quite hard to Ron Dennis in 1995 just after Ron got his fingers burned with Mansell, and without Martins efforts I'm quite sure Lewis would have just been another kart racer, as McLaren funded his racing all the way to F1, I think they put 10 million dollars into him before F1, as F-Renault, european F3 and GP2 aint cheap for a front running seat.

Ironically my source of info also run Russell, and he was not so gushing about him, but none the less he was considered very good and capable for sure.

I believe both Norris and Russel will both be in the same GP2 team in 2018, so we will soon know the deal!
