Thanks Alan - Well I'm sure many honest karters will be reading your post and their hearts sinking.....so the tyre sniffer is vague at best from what you say......oh dear.

I'm also sure some karters are also reading this thread and they know what tyre softeners will pass the sniffer test....... I'm sure there are some fancy potions out there, not that I'm interested in them whatsoever. I think some circuits impose a life-ban from entering the circuits premises if caught using tyre softeners, and rightly so.......I prefer good driver tuition myself!

So any suspicions and the tyres need to go off to a lab, but even the answer could be disputed or down to general chemical exposure, like petrol or brake cleaner, or some scuzz dropped by other karts on the circuit which we all run over.....hmmm

But over all, well done to HKRC for trying, keep up the good work.
