That slots in so perfectly with how the government's cabinet ministers are appointed, doesn't it?

Fill the post with any idiot and hope that those in the shadows around them will guide them into doing a far from passable job of incompetence.

Thus, the demise of karting continues and will continue to do so until those very same people in the shadows are called upon for their expertise of what karting really needs to pull it from the quagmire of its imminent and impending obscurity.

When a cadet gets disqualified because their parent has a T bar in their hand on the dummy grid but has not actually presented said implement to a cap head bolt, the plot has been well and truly lost. At that point IKR seems no better than non IKR sometimes, because the aim of IKR was supposed to eliminate the bull$hit. Clearly the bulls are still active.
