Well, well, well, how far IKR has come since inception of the acronym in August 2012.
While the OPs ideas / plans are surely to be welcomed, supported and developed, I too would caution regarding the risk of making IKR something like MSA-lite. Just because the MSA has failed (mainstream / grassroots) karting doesnt mean theres need for a leaner reincarnation.
Also, there is frequent mention of IKR clubs when often (majority?) there is no club; the race meetings are run by track owners / operators. They, in turn, are best placed to respond in their own best interest directly to the demands of their regular, mostly local customer base. It might be a difficult sell to them to support even the smallest bit of additional admin that doesnt immediately benefit their own business.
Im missing Strubby on that list. Furthermore, some predominantly MSA venues also run IKR meetings; not least PFi (if they still do; Im a bit out of touch).
Finally not that it is particularly relevant to this discussion does the ABkC still exist?
