I would have very limited sympathy for the kart manufacturers...

Why does a Tonykrt have to cost 2795+vat when the like of CRG and Birel can still feed their families for around 2200+vat?

A new Rotax MAX has increased by 300+vat in the last two months, and the recession has been around far longer than that!

Plus, no foreign manufacturers lowered their prices when the exchange rate was good a while back!

There's just some who will do what's technically known as taking advantage of the situation, or to put it more simply, taking the pi55 - have you seen the price of OTK spare compared to other brands?

Within a year I predict everyone in TKM on Gillard chassis...lol!

That reminds me though, has anyone else noticed that you could buy a complete Tonykart Viper + the yet to appear TAG TKM for the same price as the Racer EVR?!?
