Bit difficult to get get the result you want when you're driving with one arm and the other one broken!
To go from last to 11th in the prefinal with one arm was good enough for me and to hold that place after getting up to tenth in the final was good.
Thanks to everyone at Llandow, such a friendly place and made some new friends.
On the subject of what karting means to people, one was happy to finish any heat and the other was happy that they didn't get lapped for the first time.
Thus proving that it isn't all about winning but achieving little improvements gradually.
The biggest highlight had to be the fact that the girl who crashed so horribly, was ok and came back to the track after being stretchered off to hospital.
Christ, they breed the lassies hard in Wales, that was some impact!
They even made her pay for the fence :)
Looking forward to returning to such a friendly country with the best accent ever.
In England, when a buch of lads ask if your ok, they are about to mug you, in Wales they actually MEAN IT.
