We have been involved in Natska for 7 years, my eldest races Internationally now but still comes back to help out at meetings as he feels he is putting something back in and he enjoys seeing his mates from all over the country as well as helping his little brother out in TKM (Class 7).
Not sure why you would go into honda, with your equipment you could just bolt on a Raket 85cc 2 stroke engine and go into probably the most fun class. Big grids, some very good young drivers and it is reasonably quick. he will certainly learn racecraft and you can use the same tyres/kart which would get round some of your concerns. Not sure if Barclays run any Rakets but there is plenty of help available if not. The engines are relatively cheap and you can get lots of hours out of them. Let me know if you need any more info
