the other "cost" or variable is the length of the queue waiting to see the CoC following an incident, downloading data from the on-board camera (Rotax reg 1.9.11) and the ensuing arguments about what the footage shows.
I'm not against technology where it helps and in the case of improving standards but is this a sledge hammer/nut approach and having successfully introduced racing from Saturday lunchtime onwards to ensure meetings finish on time/in daylight thereby allowing people to get home at a reasonable time - I can see a lot of waiting for decisions to be made.
Q: the regs state the "camera must be in fully working condition" but what if following impact said camera gets broken and is unusable in the office - what then?
I'm sure or hope the organisers have thought ALL of this through but I have my doubts!
