Thanks for the reply Ian, it only my sons second year in Junior TKM4/s and we have just switched from a MS to Talko chassis. He's on the heavy side and fairly tall for a junior of 14/15.
We was really experimenting on Sat and ran out of sessions as they were split 5 ways at Buckmore,which doesn't leave a lot of track time !
He was on brand new rears at 17psi, I probably could have gone quite a bit higher, I also didn't have the rear torsion bar fitted.
There are only 2 settings on the Talko for caster changes, so I can't experiment much there.
He does drive the kart like a rally car and is either on or off the throttle, so I need to work on calming him down !
His lines are quite tidy but do need some work in the wet and I am trying to get him to lean more in the wet.
I think we are both on a steep learning curve at the moment !
