Most, if not all, circuits will have the rule that 'no dogs are allowed'. Most, if not all, Kart Club SRs will also have the regulation that 'Dogs are strictly prohibited by order of the Circuit Management.' More enlightened Clubs will add,'unless prior agreement has been arranged.' This covers visiting families who may be staying overnight at the track for a weekends racing, and are unable to leave their pet with a friend or place it in a kennel. The cost of which might be more than the race entry fee. One would expect that responsible dog owners would keep the animal teathered and on a lead at all times and also to clean up any residue left. I agree that karts and dogs do not mix but can Clubs afford to turn away drivers? The real problem is what to do with the cats?
