When you change the pads, do it with the tops off of the reservoirs. When you push the pistons back it pressurises the reservoirs and the pads tend to creep back and make contact with the disc. Check the fluid level before you replace the tops as the level rises, so you may have to remove a drop. Give the pistons a good clean with brake cleaner while they are in the extended position and it will help to prevent dirt being dragged back into the caliper when you retract them to accomodate the new pads.Once the pads are installed and the tops are on, give the brake pedal some sharp applications to bed things back in. The Tony kart brake is very solid normally, so look for any spongy movement after the pads make contact. If there is air in the caliper, it will expand and cause the pads to drag when hot.
